A quick update for our faculty on the latest improvements to the House Point System.
When you sign in, you will see a "T-Shirt Sizes Needed" reminder at the top of your dashboard if your shirt size or any of your homeroom students' sizes are still missing. Use the dropdowns to record your size and each student's size right there — no need to track anyone down. Please complete this as soon as possible so we can order shirts for everyone.
You can send a shoutout to recognize a fellow staff member for great work. Shoutouts appear on the school display board for everyone to see, and you can choose to submit yours anonymously or with your name. Shoutouts now stay in the active queue for a set period and then archive automatically by school year, so past recognition is always preserved.
A new analytics view shows shoutout trends over the school year, with filtering by year and trend charts. Admins and sub-admins can use it to see how staff recognition is trending across the school.
If a student's name, grade, house, or notes need to be corrected — or a student record needs to be removed — you can submit a change request right from the student's profile. Open any student, choose "Request Change," describe what needs updating, and the office will review and apply it. You no longer need to email or track someone down; the request goes straight to the admin queue.
A feedback button (the blue message icon on the right side of the app) lets you send a suggestion or report a bug straight to the office. Use it any time you spot something that isn't working or have an idea for a new feature. Your note goes to the admin feedback queue, so you don't need to email or call it in.
