House Point System

Welcome! The House Point System is a simple, friendly way for our school to celebrate the positive things students do every day — kindness, effort, teamwork, leadership, and more. When you notice a student doing something great, you award them points. Those points roll up into their House total and appear on a big, live leaderboard that the whole school can see.

This guide will show you exactly what you'll see on screen and what to tap, step by step. By the end you'll be confidently awarding points and (if you're an admin) managing the whole system.

In this guide you'll learn how to:

• Sign in as a teacher or an administrator
• Award points to a student or a whole group
• Open a student's profile and review their progress
• Manage students, teachers, houses, badges, and more (admin)
• Set up and run the live display board

Your administrator gives you a username and a starting password. Signing in takes just a few seconds.

There are three kinds of users. Your role controls what you can see and do, so everyone has exactly the access they need — no more, no less.

This section covers everything a teacher does day to day. Most of your time will be spent right here on the dashboard, awarding points.

Awarding Points to a Student

Awarding points is the heart of the system. It's quick — here's exactly what you'll see and do.

What Happens When You Award Points

Behind the scenes, a single award does several things at once:

The student earns points, their house total goes up, the leaderboard updates live, and any earned badges are added automatically.

Awarding Points to a Group

Recognizing a whole class or club? Use a group award. First create a student group (next section), then award points to the entire group in one action — every student in the group receives the points.

Student Profiles

Tap a student's name to open their profile. It brings together everything about that student in one friendly view.

Student Groups

A group is a reusable set of students — a class, a club, a team. Create it once, then award points to the whole group in two taps. Groups are private to you and color-coded so they're easy to spot in your list.

The Admin Panel is your control center. It's organized into collapsible sections so the screen stays calm — tap a section to expand it and see its tools.

Student Management

Add and organize your students. You can enter them one at a time, import many at once from a spreadsheet, and assign houses fairly.

Teacher Management

Create accounts for your teachers and decide who gets extra access.

Assignments

Create point-valued assignments and target them to specific grades or houses. Students submit their work, and you grade and award points from one place.

Reports

See point reports and teacher statistics — who's awarding points, which houses lead, and how participation trends over time. Great for sharing celebrations in staff meetings.

Branding & Settings

The display board is meant for a big screen in a hallway, cafeteria, or gym. It celebrates everyone's progress and builds school spirit.
